About the Owner
Carter Rivers, owner of Green Rivers Landscape Company, was born and raised in downtown Madison, Alabama. After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Horticulture from Auburn University, he went on to work for a well known Landscape Company in Birmingham before joining the supply side of the Green Industry for the next 8 years, working closely with contractors and retail customers to help complete their projects and care for their properties.
With this combined knowledge and the expertise built over 12 years of experience in landscape services and the nursery industry, and the support of his beautiful wife, Rachel, and his two sons, JJ and Crew, Carter combines his love of horticulture with his appreciation of his fast-growing hometown to continue to help customers create beautiful outdoor environments.
